The bandits responsible for the abduction of students of the Federal Government College, Birnin Yauri, Kebbi State have released pictures of some of the captives.
Several members of staff and a yet to be specified number of students were abducted from the school premises on Thursday, last week.
Two sets of victims have so far been rescued after fierce gun battles with the kidnappers.
Atiku Bagudu, governor of Kebbi State has reassured parents and colleagues of the captives that efforts are underway to secure their release.
Reports say that a teacher who did not want to be named confirmed the identity of the students in the picture.
Meanwhile, the governor has visited the students who were rescued but taken to hospital for evaluation.
