BBNaija Level Up Edition Winner, Phyna Opens up On Abandoning Her Family

Josephine Otabor, the BBNaija Season 7 Level Up winner, better known as Phyna, has reacted to an alleged recent complaint from her family.

Her father claimed she ‘abandoned’ her family after winning the N100 million grand prize of the reality show in 2022.

A national newspaper reported that Mr. Felix Otabor, Phyna’s father, lamented in an interview that his daughter “disappeared into thin air as soon as the prize money was handed over to her, and she never returned to her parents to butter their bread.”

He was also quoted to have said Phyna neither calls nor answers their calls since she left the BBNaija house.

Reacting in a now-deleted post on X, Phyna threatened to take legal action against the newspaper that published the interview.

Months after winning the prize money from BBNaija however, videos emerged of the reality star and ‘hype diva’ presenting a car to her father.

From all indications, an apparent overzealous journalist posted the accusation without taking time to research Phyna’s activities and relationship with her family.

Back in 2022, the BBNaija Level Up winner purchased Her Dad a Vintage SUV. It would not be out of place for her to seek redress as she has threatened.
