A video has emerged of the moment the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere handed over a block of 14 flats to the family of slain Deborah Samuel.
The late 200-level student of Shehu Shagari College of Education Sokoto was lynched and burnt to death by her Muslim classmates for an alleged blasphemy against Prophet Muhammed.
Moved by the grief suffered by the family, Apostle Chinyere offered scholarships to Deborah’s siblings.
Her mother had told newsmen that the entire family was hoping that Deborah being the oldest child would graduate and help train the younger ones.
In addition to the scholarships, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries gave the bereaved father a Toyota Corolla vehicle to run an Uber service.
The family got emotional when Apostle Chinyere also handed over the keys to an estate comprising 14 flats to them. All the documents were signed off to the family.
