Social media influencer and activist, Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan, has told the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) that he will not honour their invitation regarding his allegation against Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky.
VeryDarkMan said he doesn’t trust the EFCC, and it doesn’t make any sense for the agency to expect him to show up at its Lagos office when he doesn’t reside there and the headquarters of the EFCC is also in Abuja.
He also urged the anti graft agency to investigate its officers and invite Bobrisky to Abuja.
The activist stated this in a video shared on social media on Wednesday.
VeryDarkMan had accused controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky of bribing EFCC officials with the sum of ₦15,000,000 to drop the money laundering case against him.
Reacting, the EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, ordered an immediate investigation into allegations and also added that both Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan are to appear before the commission for questioning at its Lagos office.
VeryDarkMan insists he will not be honouring the invite to Lagos as he was not sure of his fate if he goes. He, instead, asked the anti-graft agency to invite him to their office in Abuja.
He said, “Before you (EFCC) invite someone like me, do a deep investigation on your officers first. When you get the result from your officers who handled Bobrisky’s file then you can invite me.
“You are telling me to come to Lagos and the headquarters of EFCC is in Abuja, it makes no sense. You should, instead, invite Bobrisky to Abuja and do your investigation.
“Lastly, why I would not go to Lagos is that I don’t have N15 million to pay for anything. I don’t have any godfather anywhere and I don’t want to be framed. I don’t trust you and I won’t go (to Lagos).”
