‘Bode George Continues to Demonize Tinubu, APC is a reformed party, PDP has Imploded…’ – Fani-Kayode (video)

Nigeria’s former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode while being interviewed on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday, spoke about Chief Bode George’s grudge against, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He also painted a picture of the current state of PDP and his volte face allegiance to the ruling party, the APC of so many years of .

The party stalwart also spoke about recanting on his past criticisms of the presidential flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the reforms the party has undertaken which informed his decision to rejoin it.

Femi Fani-Kayode used the occasion to react to allegations that he defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressive Congress (APC) because of a promise to be given an appointment.

The political stalwart said, “My defection has nothing to do with morals, it is a question of choices. It’s my choice. And my choice is that when I was in the PDP and I was in it for many years, I fought against those that were against my party. Now I’m no longer in the PDP I’m in the APC. I will fight against those that are against my party. That is my nature.

“And I make these choices based on conviction. And based on courage. It was very clear to me what was going to happen in the PDP, you asked me why, how come I’ve changed. It was very clear to me what was going to happen in the PDP. Look at that situation today, he was talking about a party that has been bedeviled, that a devil has entered the party. I saw that devil two years ago, coming in slipping, creeping into their ranks, and I knew this was gonna happen to them.”

Femi Fani Kayode summarised his opinion on PDP chieftain, Chief Bode George in a post on his social media handles that, “I agree with Bode George: devils have taken over the PDP”- FFK.”
