Yet another popular Nollywood actor, Stanley Okoro is dead.
The actor known for his comedy roles in moves died on Wednesday from an alleged food poisoning.
This comes barely 24 hours after the death of veteran actor Rich Oganiru and less than 2 weeks after the death of Rachel Oniga.
While Oniga died of heart disease according to her sister, Oganiru died after a protracted illness which lasted several months.
Oganiru’s death was announced on Facebook on Tuesday by his friend.
In 2012, he was arrested for allegedly murdering his wife.
Reports at the time said that the wife’s family and relatives made the accusation in a petition to law enforcement agents.
They insisted he killed his wife to acquire her wealth considering she is a millionaire, an accusation he denied till his death.
