Nigeria’s national grid collapsed for the 10th time on Tuesday, 5th November throwing the entire country into darkness.
The blackout happened at about 2.09 pm on Tuesday leaving many businesses stranded and owners frustrated especially with the spiralling cost of petroleum products.
An announcement from the Transmission company of Nigeria reads: “BREAKING: National Grid suffers another setback. Restoration soon!“, @NationalGridNg tweeted around 3 PM on Tuesday.
