Comrade Joe Ajaero, the President of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has been arrested.
According to Vanguard, he was whisked away by the Police at the ongoing protest in Imo state.
Ajaero’s arrest follows the chaos that ensued as miscreants descended on protesters, smashing vehicles and inflicting various degrees of injuries on labour members.
Already, the whereabout of the NLC President is unknown as heavily armed security personnel took him away.
