The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has reportedly suspended its National Leader, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Kwankwaso who was also the presidential candidate in the 2023 election was suspended for 6 months over alleged anti-party activities.
The penalty followed crisis of confidence that started within the party over the last few months since the end of the elections with accusations and counter accusations between the different groups within the party.
A few days ago, the national Publicity Secretary and some others were suspended, a move rejected by the party’s Board of Trustees.
