BREAKING NEWS ! Tinubu Withdraws Ministerial Nomination of Maryam Shettima (video)

The ministerial nomination of Maryam Shetty, a national leader of the APC support group has been withdrawn by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The president had sent the name of the nominee alongside 48 names to the National Assembly for screening and confirmation.

Shetty only learnt on arrival at the Senate for screening that she has been dropped.

Maryam Shetty arrived at the National Assembly for Screening just to hear that, Bola Tinubu has asked the Senate to withdraw her name from the ministerial list 💔

In a letter sent to the Senate on Friday, the President replaced Shetty’s name with it with Mairiga Mahmud.

This was revealed when Senate President Godswill Akpabio read out a letter by the President at Friday’s plenary session.

According to NTA, she has also added APC chieftain, Festus Keyamo to the list.
