In Nigeria, such an action would typically elicit thoughts of her being a mermaid and that was mostly the reaction to development.
The bride, dressed in white is seen walking slowly to her groom who then receives her from the the water as guests cheered in the background.
The scenery is said to be a recreation of a wedding scene from the movie, ‘Crazy Rich Asians.’

symbaserothick The dress from the knees up must be waterproof cause in no time the water will reach nyash. Ask me how after you leave something in water and measure where it rose to after a few moments. But if I could recreate a wedding moment it would be from an Africa movie.
