It would appear that a bright future is birthing in Nigeria as #ENDSARS protesters demonstrate a never seen religious tolerance.
It is Friday and as a tradition, Muslims held the Jumat Service, not at mosques or the usual prayer grounds, but at the protest grounds across Lagos.
There was noticeable calm and quiet on the part of protesters of other religions as the youth Chief Imams led the prayers.
Christians and other worshipers stood behind their Muslims looking sober and observing absolute respect for Allah and the ongoing worship service.
The sight and atmosphere caused shivers with the older generations who watched from their TV screens on Friday.
Describing the atmosphere, @mrmacaroni said that:
“We are all one !! Irrespective of religion or tribe !! We are all on !! There should be no division !! Love must lead !! We are all Nigerian Youths and w want a better Nigeria !!! Together we shall overcome !!! L #Endsars
@zaddyfranlin responds in excitement that:
“A new Nigeria is coming where decision-making power will be in the hands of the youths ! We Keep letting them know that we (youths) can’t be intimidated.
“We have one voice.”
Lekki Toll Gate:
Alausa Jumat Service:
There are indications that a church service will hold on Sunday with the same measure of responsibility, respect and tolerance observed during Jumat service today.
Indeed, a bright future is birthing for Nigeria ! For the older generation, no regrets, some of you were raised by parents who were humiliated by the colonial task-masters.
Some woke up to the devious tactics of colleagues who bought their consciences with proceeds of corruption.
Unfortunately the children you amassed corrupt death for are stuffing it down your throats. They want to build sincere wealth and leave legacies for their children.
Accountability with all crowd funds will be discussed in another article.
JUST STAY HERE AND WATCH THIS SPACE !
I am personally loving this Joshua generation !
