British Prime Minister Boris Johnson Develops More Covid-19 Symptoms, Hospitalized

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has now been hospitalised after developing worrying symptoms of covid-19.

News broke out on the 27th of March on this news channel that he tested positive to the deadly disease.

He took self isolation even as other key government officials comprising Health Secretary, Matt Hancock and Chief Medical Officer, Prof Chris Whitty who also tested positive equally went into isolation.

Mr Johnson posted messages of his health status an hour ago. He used the opportunity to also thank the NHS team that has been taking care of him.

The Prime Minister also cautioned on the need to stay at home saying he is good spirits. He added that he working with his team to fight the pandemic and keep everyone safe.

His message:
“Last night, on the advice of my doctor, I went into hospital for some routine tests as I’m still experiencing coronavirus symptoms. I’m in good spirits and keeping in touch with my team, as we work together to fight this virus and keep everyone safe.
I’d like to say thank you to all the brilliant NHS staff taking care of me and others in this difficult time. You are the best of Britain. Stay safe everyone, and please remember to stay at home to protect the NHS and save lives.”
