A yet to be identified philanthropist is partnering with the Lagos State Government Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) to offer free ride to mothers across the State.
The group is said to be showing appreciation to mothers for the unique roles they play in families.
It noted that mothers are the critical unifying factor that bond a family and are considered incredible pillars of family love and support.
In recognition of this love, the anonymous brand offered the token of appreciation of the love in commemoration of the 2022 Mother’s Day.
It is said to be honouring and celebrating mothers’ love by offering them free BRT bus rides across different locations in Lagos.
The caption for the free ride that is currently trending on social media campaign is Unconditional Love 27.
Some of the beneficiaries share their opinion on the kind gesture:
Mimi@iamaminat_· “I entered a free BRT ride for women only from Ikorodu to Iponri today Courtesy of an NGO named Unconditional Love..So the whole concept is celebrating love and as everybody knows “Women birthed love”… A very beautiful thing Y’all should check them out IG:@unconditionallove_27“
The yet-to-be identified brand is said to be collaborating with Lagos state Bus Rapid Transport to offer the free rides at select terminals to mothers from Thursday, 24th March 2022 to Sunday, 27th of March 2022— Mother’s Day.
The face of a young man remains consistent on social media as he personally handed the tickets to the mothers. He was however, too busy to take questions:
The select terminals include Ikorodu – CMS, Ajah – CMS, Ota to Oshodi, Ikotun – Cele – Oshodi, and Berger – Seven-up – Obalende. All the free buses are branded with the tag Unconditional Love 27.
He barely muttered that the 5-day free BRT Ride initiative is the organisers’ way of saying thank you to precious mothers for their continuous Unconditional Love.
It is aimed at making commuting within the Lagos metropolis more fun and pleasurable stress-free for mothers while they go about their daily businesses and activities this Mother’s Day period.
