President Muhammadu Buhari is set to embark on another trip to London, United Kingdom (UK) for medical checkup.
He will depart Nigeria today, Monday 31st October for his routine medical evaluation.
A statement posted by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina states that President Buhari will be away until the second week of November 2022.
He also described the medical trip as a “routine medical check-up.”
According to Femi Adesina, “President Muhammadu Buhari leaves for London, United Kingdom, October 31, 2022, for routine medical check-up.
“He returns to the country in the second week of November, 2022.”
The last time the number 1 citizen undertook a medical tour to the UK was in March. Nigerian citizens have adapted to news of him not patronising Nigerian medical personnel or facilities within the country.
Earlier in the year, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on his part, underwent an orthopaedic surgery within the country, an indication that regardless of the brain drain of medical personnel, some experts are still available.
