Crowds of Nigerian youth protesters, today stormed the streets of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja with placards tagged #BuhariMustGo.
They arrived their various rallying points in the hours the nation’s Independence Day, October 1, demanding that the President quit the seat of power for a more competent leader.
Reports say they were mainly at the Dantata Bridge on Airport Road armed with placards and banners.
They also set bonfires on the expressway.
The protesters were later confronted by heavily armed security operatives who dispersed them.
