Former President Muhammadu Buhari has hailed the ruling of the Supreme Court which dismissed the appeals against the election of President Bola Tinubu.
His reaction is contained in a statement on Thursday by his media aide, Garba Shehu, the former President said the decision of the apex court to dismiss the appeals by Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), is a welcome relief to him.
He said the affirmation of Tinubu’s victory by the apex court was a reaffirmation of the will of the majority of the people against the determined will of a hard-fighting minority.
The former President, therefore, wished the President and his team a successful term in office.
