President Muhammadu Buhari returned to Nigeria after a 2-week medical checkup in London, the United Kingdom.
Buhari left the federal capital territory on March 6 for his routine medical check-up.
The President had planned to travel to London from Nairobi, Kenya after attending the United Nations Environmental Programme, but returned to Nigeria on March 4.
Buhari’s spokesman, Femi Adesina, on March 1 had announced that his Principal would proceed to London from Kenya for routine medical checks which will last for two weeks.
Buhari, however, returned to Abuja on Friday, before embarking on the London trip on March 6.
Several top government and political functionaries visited him while abroad. They include the Caretaker Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Mai Mala Buni.
However, the presidential aircraft carrying Buhari landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at about 7.09 p.m on Friday.
