Hanan, the youngest daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari has given birth to her first baby with her husband, Muhammed Turad Sha’aban.

The news was made public by Sha’aban on his social media pages. He said his baby boy was delivered in Turkey on Sunday, the 20th of March.

According to him, “My wife and I have been blessed with a baby boy! Alhamdulillah. We have named him Muhammad Zayd. (Hibbu Raulallah).”

Hanan Buhari
is a graduate of digital photography who got married to Sha’aban in September 2020 in a lavish first ever State House wedding tagged: HamadForever.

Previous weddings of children of Presidents, like Goodluck Jonathan were held outside the Villa.

It also witnessed two Juma’at prayers at Aso Rock on the day, one for the regular Friday prayers and the second for the wedding. The 2 prayer sessions were aimed at reducing the the number of guests in line with Covid-19 safety protocols.

Mohammad is the son of former House of Representatives lawmaker, Mahmud Sani Sha’aban, a very close friend of President Buhari.

Hanan graduated with a First Class in digital photography in December 2019 from Ravensbourne University, London. In 2017, she held an exhibition in Abuja, tagged, ‘Innovation by Hanna’, where she showed some of her projects. The event attracted top names in government and industry’s A-list.

Young Mrs Sha’aban has been commended for contributing to changing the perception about photography, which is no longer for drop outs and the less-privileged in the society, but for the highly talented.

Her husband, Muhammad, holds the title, Wakilin Tudun Wadan Zazzau. His father, who holds the title of Dan Buram of Zazzau, has a very long and robust political relationship with President Buhari from their days at the defunct All Nigerian Political Party (ANPP) to the present day at All Progressives Party (APC).
