Buka stew or Easter Gourmet sauce, how ever you choose to name it is brought to us by our celebrity chef, diaryofakitchenlover.

She personally calls it “buka Stew.” which ever you tag it, the Easter delicacy speaks to the dwindling resources in our freezers and pantries. This is even as no one is certain when the government lockdown order will be relaxed.

We really do not want the family eating the same things over and over. Therefore, as naturally endowed creative chefs that every woman is, we think out of the box.

Following our chef’s advise, we come with something exciting, economical, different and not requiring stepping out of the houses.

This stew comes with a combination of bits of protein, cooking oils and seasonings. It can be eating with swallows, rice of spaghetti.

Ingredients:
  1. Locust beans
  2. Palm oil
  3. vegetable oil
  4. Fresh Pepper (rodo)
  5. Tomatoes
  6. Oil
  7. Onions
  8. Native curry leaves (optional)
  9. Curry
  10. Crayfish
  11. Smocked fish
  12. Goat meat
  13. seasoning cube
  14. Water

You can use any combination of protein of your choice. However, fry in locus beans and oil before adding the paper mix.
