2 more students of Dowen College, Lekki who were named by late Sylvester Oromoni to have fatally assaulted him, have been arrested and detained by the Lagos State Police Command.
This brings to 5, the number of students in police custody.
Equally arrested and detained are 3 housemasters who were on duty on the day the incident took place.
Police say they have obtained a court order to detain the students for 21 days at a juvenile centre.
3 students of Dowen College were earlier detained for allegedly assaulting 12-year-old Sylvester Oromoni.
The Commissioner of Police stated that the Command has launched a full-scale probe into the circumstances resulting in the death of young Oromoni on the 30th of November, 2021.
Two of the parents of the accused have made public statements denying the involvement of their children in the alleged murder.
