African Giant, Nigeria’s Burna Boy is not baking down as he clinches nomination for the 63rd Grammy Awards.
He is nominated for his album #TwiceAsTall in the ‘Best Music Album’ category.
Burna Boy is the only Afrobeats/artiste to be nominated.
His fans are optimistic that he will return with the award in January.

1. African Giant – Edison Award for Best World Album(Netherland)
2. Best African Act – Mobo Awards
3. Best International Act – Mobo Awards
4. Best World Album – Grammys”
Earlier today, Music Guide reported that “African Giant (Burna Boy) has been nominated at The Edison Award for Best World Album.
“The Edison Award is the most prestigious Dutch music award show, celebrated annually.
“Burna Boy becomes the first ever Nigerian to be nominated for the award.
While reporting its monetisation for his nomination for the Edison Award, the jury said that “The Nigerian Burna Boy is sensation in world and pop music.
“His music is unmistakably African, but fits seamlessly into today’s pop music culture.
” ‘African Giant’ contains a challenging mix of Rap, RnB, Reggae and African pop music and reminds at times of the also Nigerian great Fela Kuti.”
However, for the 63rd Grammy, America’s Beyonce leads the pack with 9 nominations.
