A Bank Manager has been attacked and manhandled by a group of young men who accused her of causing their father an avoidable agony by not dispensing his money to him.
The hardship resulted in the frustrated family man stripping completely naked in the banking hall and crying to be given his hard-earned savings.
In the video showing the attack of the female Bank Manager, one of those who accosted her claimed to be the son of the angry man.
According to the young man, his father was in the bank to withdraw N5,000 but was not attended to by the female Bank Manager.
In retaliation, the men waited for her on a street she passes through regularly.
The men, who spoke Igbo language, vandalised her car, scattered her personal belongings on the road, pulled out one of the tyres of her car and made away with her travel bag and the tyre.
An onlooker who recorded the video was heard in the background saying that bankers are receiving their punishment one after the other.
The banker cried for help from members of the public but everyone ignored her, watching and apparently grateful for the justice she was given.At a point, the banker challenged the men and asked them if she was the bank or the Central Bank of Nigeria.
She then gave someone her phone to film the incident, but the phone was snatched by one of the men attacking her.
On January 29, 2023, the Central Bank of Nigeria announced a 10-day extension of the deadline for the acceptance of old naira notes as legal tender.
