A retired chef, Kuku Nwa Nile popularly known as Chef Obubu has revealed how she was denied entry into a Lagos restaurant because of her outfit.
Kuku Uwa Nile who announced a few months ago that she was quitting catering business said she was visiting Kaly’s restaurant when the receptionist denied her entry.
She added that the given reason was that violated the restaurant’s dress code.
According to kuku Uwa Nile @chefobubu· “Apparently I’m violating Kaly’s restaurant dress code so they didn’t let me in.”
Other customers of the eatery who had similar encounters replied, sharing their stories too.
The chef, in an update, said the manager of the restaurant has now apologised and revealed that the staff who denied her entry has been changed.
