Chidinma Ojukwu, the suspected killer of Usifo Ataga, Super TV CEO, has emerged winner of a prison beauty contest held for inmates at the Kirikiri correctional centre.
Nigerians have expressed varying reactions with some cheering the development while many believe it is a slight on friends and family of late Usifo Ataga who still mourning his gruesome murder.
Among those who expressed outrage on the development is Reno Omokri, personal aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan.
According to the social critic, prison is a place of punishment and rehabilitation, adding that once it becomes a place of fun, then the purpose is defeated.
