International award winning author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has lost her mum.
Reports say that Mrs Grace Ifeoma Adichie died suddenly on Monday in Awka, Anambra State.
A family spokesperson laments that, “It was sudden and we are devastated.”
Chimamanda’s dad, James Nwoye Adichie passed on some months back in 2020.
Mrs Adichie is survived by six children: Ijeoma, Uchenna, Chuks, Okechukwu, Chimamanda and Kenechukwu alongside nine grandchildren, in-laws and relatives.
