A Twitter handle obviously impersonating Chioma, wife of Nigerian Afrobeats singer David Adeleke aka Davido has been called out.
The fake handle was called out by talent manager, Ubi Franklin and Davido himself.
They both took to their individual Twitter handles on Tuesday to reveal that Davido’s wife, Chioma, has no Twitter account and warned social media users to disregard tweets from the fake page.
In a trending disclaimer post accompanied by a screenshot, Ubi Franklin explained that the particular page with a similar username to that of Chioma’s Instagram page is fake and only impersonating her.
He tweeted: “This page is impersonating Chef Chi. Kindly disregard any tweet from this Twitter handle. Thank you.”
Davido Retweeted Franklin’s disclaimer post on his official handle, stressing that “Chioma has no Twitter.”
