A group of undesignated Christian leaders in Jos, Plateau State have addressed a letter to the vice presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Bishop Isaac Idahosa.
NNPP presidential flag-bearer, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on Monday officially unveiled Bishop Idahosa as his running mate for the 2023 elections.
The unveiling of the Senior Pastor of the God First Ministry, Lekki Light Centre in Ajah, Lagos was done at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja on Monday.
Many hours after the event, Christian clerics whose ministries were not mentioned, wrote a letter to congratulate Bishop Idahosa for answering the call to be a running mate to the former Governor of Kano State.
The clerics said the development was proof that the NNPP movement is divine.
Having hailed Kwankwaso and the NNPP, the clerics praised Idahosa as a man of honour who also has the country to heart.
The letter posted on the official Twitter page of the NNPP was co-signed by the National Convener of the Pastors for Idahosa/Kwankwaso, Bishop James Malgit and Rev. Dr I.D Samuel, the forum’s General Secretary.
