Nigeria’s iconic comic actor, John Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu has once again been hospitalized and is forced to celebrate his 63rd birthday on a hospital bed.
According to reports, the actor shared a video of himself via Instagram on Tuesday, surrounded by family and friends who came to celebrate him.
Dressed in a hospital robe, he was seen taking things easy as his guests sang the regular birthday song for him.
Mr Ibu’s adopted daughter, Jazmine Okafor, shared the video on her Instagram post, adding that the man has been sick for the past two weeks.
She captioned the video, “Happy birthday Daddy @realmribu ! It breaks my heart that we are celebrating you today from the HOSPITAL Bed! My greatest wish today is that God crowns you with Devine healing, Good health , and many more happy years ! This past two weeks, you have fought a good fight and you are still standing tall. We are here for you! Victory is assured! Speedy recovery papa,”
The condition of the actor who has been in and out of the hospital since last year has sparked various reactions from fans across social media, with many wishing him a quick recovery.
