Niger Republic tops the list in a report released by the World of Statistics as leading other nations of the world with high fertility rates.
Niger Republic leads the pack at 6.9, Somalia at 6.4, Chad rates 6.3, Congo at 6.2, Mali, 6.0 and the Central African Republic trails at 6.0.
The figures indicate the best rating in fertility or births per woman, in the listed countries.
Nigeria follows in 8th position with a 5.3 rating while the likes of South Korea, Hong Kong Singapore, Japan, China, Italy and Spain rank the lowest.
World of Statistics indicates the Fertility rate (births per woman) as follows;
