The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a couple for unlawfully invading their son’s school, beating up and injuring a teacher.

The couple were nabbed after the police operatives at Ado Odo Divisional Headquarters received a distress call that a teacher in Toyon High School, Ere Village in Ado Odo had been brutally assaulted by parents of one of his students.

The DPO, SP Arowojeun Michael stated that upon receiving the call, he mobilised his men and went to to the school where the parents and some of the thugs that accompanied them were arrested.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the couple was infuriated after their son’s teacher, Abel Thomas beat the child. They then descended on the school on a vengeance mission.

DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, spokesman of the state police command said the victim is currently undergoing treatment.

He added that the state commissioner of police, CP Lanre Bankole has ordered that couple be charged to court without delay.
