A couple has been arrested and taken to the Homicide Section of the Ogun State Police Command after human hands and breasts were discovered in their apartment.
Kehinde Oladimeji, 43 and his wife Adejumoke Raji, 35 were arrested at No 72 MKO Abiola way, Leme, Abeokuta with the human body parts
Addressing newsman on the arrests, the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi said the duo were nabbed following a complaint lodged at Kemta Divisional Headquarters by the Baale of Leme Community, Chief Moshood Ogunwolu.
Oyeyemi added that the Baale reported that Pastor Adisa Olanrewajuwho, a co-tenant of the couple informed him of offensive odours coming from the room of the suspects.
“Upon the complaint, the DPO Kemta Division, CSP Adeniyi Adekunle, quickly led his detectives to the scene where searches were conducted.
On searching the room, a plastic bowl containing fresh different parts of human being was disc comprise the room, and the couple was promptly arrested.
“On interrogation, the suspects confessed they were herbalists and that the human parts comprise of hands, breasts and other parts were given to them by one Michael who they claimed resided in Adatan area of Abeokuta.
“All efforts to locate the said Michael proved abortive as the suspects could not locate his house.
“Upon the complaint, the DPO Kemta Division, CSP Adeniyi Adekunle, quickly led his detectives to the scene where searches were conducted.

“On interrogation, the suspects confessed they were herbalists and that the human parts comprise of hands, breasts and other parts were given to them by one Michael who they claimed resided in Adatan area of Abeokuta.
“All efforts to locate the said Michael proved abortive as the suspects could not locate his house.
“It will be recalled that a dismembered body of an unknown person was found in a swamp area at Leme area of Abeokuta about a week ago, it is not yet clear whether the parts is that the f the found body or not,” he said.
The State Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole has since been informed of the development and had ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to the Homicide Section of the state criminal investigation and Intelligence Department for discreet investigation.
The CP vowed that anyone directly or indirectly involved in the crime would be brought to book to serve as a deterrent to others.
