The Hight Court of Abia State has barred security agents from denying members of the public access to any courtroom where the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu’s case is being heard.
Justice Benson Anya, in an order issued on Friday, November 19, 2021 also forbade security agents anywhere in the country from arresting observers during Kanu’s trial.
In the same vein, the judge restrained the Department of State Services, the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies from barricading court premises and access roads leading to courts during the IPOB leader’s trail.
