Days after fans tongue-lashed Pascal Chibuike, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, he has defended his action against a boy in a viral ‘dirty look’ video.
The Senior Personal Assistant to the Imo State Governor, show promoter and businessman gifted the young man the sum of N500 thousand to encourage his love for entertainment.
Weeks ago, a video went viral with the moment Cubana Chief Priest gave a ‘dirty look’ to a boy who he met at an event.
The boy had initiated a selfie video trying to capture a moment with the celebrity barman.
When he noticed what the boy was doing, Cubana Chief Priest gave the boy a demeaning look and walked away from the recording.
Nigerians, however, took to social media to condemn the socialite, describing his actions as unnecessary.
It is understood that the young man and Cubana Chief Priest were both on a stage while preparing for a show when the incident was recorded.
Defending his actions, Cubana said the boy who was employed to set up his venue, abandoned the job he was paid for and was playing around.
However, weeks after a series of backlash following the event, Cubana Chief Priest, during an Instagram live video, jokingly scolded the boy and promised to bless him with N500,000.
The entertainer was said to have also promised to hook up with the boy in Lagos to spoil him a little.
