Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has broken a new world record.
He hit 1 million likes for a social media post, barely 7 hours after his return to the photo and video-sharing app, Instagram.
The only other celebrity to ever hit the the record is Canadian singer, Justin Bieber is the first celebrity to reach 1 million likes for a post on Instagram.
On Sunday, December 18, 2022, returned to social media to share loveup photos and videos of himself and his wife, Chioma Avril.
In one of his videos, he announced that “I’m back, tell the world.”
A study of one of the posts as of the time of this report shows that the photo has earned nearly 1.6 million likes and almost 220 thousand comments on his page.
With the latest achievement, Davido has become the first Nigerian celebrity with the most likes on a single Instagram post.
