Davido Reacts to INEC Declaration of Anambra Election as Inconclusive

Afrobeat singer, Davido has reacted to the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to declare the Anambra election as inconclusive.

INEC made the declaration in the very hours of Monday, 8th of November through the returning officer, Professor Florence Obi.

Professor Obi made the announcement at the INEC head office in Awka, Anambra State when she stated that there was no election in the Ihiala Local Government Area of the state.

The returning officer who is also the Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar announced the postponement of the governorship election in the Local Government Area.

She cited irregularities discovered in most communities in the council area.

While declaring the election inconclusive, Obi said that, “It becomes imperative to bring elections from Ihiala with other LG before valid declaration can be made.”

She added that the “Supplementary election in Ihiala is to hold on Tuesday, 9 November 21 and collation will resume thereafter”

In his reaction to the development, Davido took to his Instagram account to express his displeasure and described the INEC as useless peso.

Reacting to the development, Davido, via his Instagram story, expressed displeasure, whilst describing INEC as “useless people.”
