Bobo Ajudua, lawyer to popular Nigerian Afro Beats star, davido has stated that Wizkid deserves the Grammy after the singer failed to secure any award despite being nominated in two different categories.
At last Sunday’s event, Wizkid lost to Angelique Kidjo in the Best World Music Album category.
The Beninese singer won the Best World Music Album for ‘Mother Nature’, at the 64th Grammy Awards.
Angélique‘s fifth Grammy award album ‘Mother Nature’ was worked on by several Producers such as Kel P of (Burna Boy), James Poyser of The Roots, Vtek, Rexxie, Synematik, Blue Lab Beats, -M-, Brad Thomas Ackley, David Donatien and Dany Synthé.
In his reaction, Ajudua via his Instagram page noted that the award belonged to ‘Essence’. According to Ajudua, Wizkid gave the world an anthem with that song.
