Popular logistics company, DHL Express as well as the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) have sent Easter messages to their teaming customers with the ‘Jerusalema’ dance.
While DHL prefers the team dance challenge, General Manger of LASTMA, Olajide Oduyoye, came down to the grassroots in Pidgin English with the goodwill message in addition to the dance:
For LASTMA, the dace challenge was also an occasion to remind motorists about the traffic offences that attract government penalties as the video showed clips of such offences and the fines.
Message from LASTMA GM:
“My name is Olajide Oduyoye, the General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority better known as LASTMA.
“We are in the season of Easter, 2021, a time of many celebrations. However, as we all celebrate, let us all bear in mind that it is not time to violate any traffic rule. It is no time to drive one-way, park illegally or obstruct other road users.
“It is also certainly not the time to allow LASTMA cease your vehicle on the road. Let us take things easy.
On behalf of the staff and management of LASTMA, send their best wishes, happy Easter to us all, Happy celebrations. Enjoy yourselves. Be law abiding.”
