Senator Dino Melaye has responded to claims that he is unable to pay for the luxury car, a Rolls Royce he allegedly bought on credit.
The car dealer named Unique Motors had taken to Instagram to berate the senator for his inability to pay the Rolls Royce he bought on credit.
Unique motors manager claimed that after multiple pleas, Melaye has not paid up the balance for the car.
Viral reports say he bought the Rolls Royce in 2019 and out of the N28 million that he was supposed to pay, he paid only N13.5 million leaving the dealer with a whopping N14.5 million.
He has also also ditched the dealer as all efforts to reach him have been abortive for the entire 3 years.
According to one of the representatives of unique Motors, prolific_counsellor “Pay your debts man. At least you have stolen enough from Nigeria“
In his reaction, the lawmaker said that if he was truly owing Unique motors, they know what to do instead of calling him out on social media.
He insisted he did not make the the purchase on social media and that the accusations were spurious.
Te former Senator added that he will seek legal redress for the false accusations.
According to dinomelaye “No be only unique motor ! If l am really owing you, you know what to do. Abi na social media you sell the imaginary car? All of una wey dey use my name promote your obscure Buisness…God know una address ooo. But for this unique nonsense my lawyers go reach you. You dial trouble.
