Famous producer, Don Jazzy has reacted after popular Afrobeats singer Davido described the role he played in his music career.
During an interview with YouTuber Tayo Aina, Davido discussed his growth in the music industry and his encounter with Don Jazzy at the beginning.
Speaking of his encounter with wee sort-after producer, Davido stated that it took guts to stand in his presence during their first meeting together.
He said, “Don Jazzy was my mentor. I remember the first time I saw him, it felt like I was looking at Jesus. It was truly amazing.”
Sharing the video of the interview on his Instagram page, Don Jazzy wrote: “And that’s how life is @davido Now I look at all you have achieved and I’m super proud of you. Even with all that success and wealth I look at your work ethic and I am highly motivated. I’m glad that as a mentor I haven’t let you down too. We thank GOD. More blessings bro.”
