Nigeria’s popular music producer and singer, Michael Collins Ajereh, known by his brand name as Don Jazzy has signed on an 18-year-old girl to his music label, Mavin.
The recently signed on patron of the Stingy Men Association of Nigeria made the revelation in a series of Twitter posts on Friday, 22nd January.
In his pinned tweet, the music producer posted that “Last year, I met the most incredible 18-year-old girl, her name is @AyraStarr. It’s been a fantastic experience working behind the scene for over a year and we at Mavin are proud to present her to the world. Pls follow and join me to welcome to MAVIN @ayrastarr#MAVINACTIVATED.”
Don Jazzy, an entrepreneur and philanthropist co-founded the now defunct Mo’ Hits Records in 2004 with D’Banj. He was the Founder/CEO while D’Banj was a Co-Owner.
The first artiste on Mo’ Hits was D’Banj, then came Wande Coal, Dr Sid, D’Prince and K-Switch.
D’Banj later left the label citing difference in interests while Don Jazzy went on to establish Mavin Records in May 2012.

There are also indications that the music producer will be working on a project with the BBnaija Lockdown winner, Laycon.
Laycon, a rapper, during the week, paid Don Jazzy a visit.
