Don Jazzy, the popular Nigerian music producer, has given the least expected surprise to a student fan of his.
He gave a cash gift of N500,000 to the student who approached him about his challenges in school.
The student had sent a message to Mavin Records’ CEO, explaining how difficult school had gotten and how they were feeling overwhelmed by the issues they were encountering.
The unnamed pupil had expressed the need for Don Jazzy to give them a “big hug” because they were near their breaking point.
The student wrote; ‘“Currently going through it at school. I’m almost at my breaking point with literally everything. I need a big hug.”
Don Jazzy responded by expressing his sympathies and commiserating with the pupil. Then he inquired as to whether a payment of N500,000 would be adequate for a virtual “hug” from him.
He also told the student that if he thought the payment was fair, he should provide his bank details.
