The driver of the BRT bus that conveyed, Miss Bamise, the murdered fashion designer that boarded his vehicle from Chevron Saturday has narrated his role in the gory incident to newsmen.
The driver was earlier arrested by the Department of State Services, DSS, on Monday shortly after the lifeless body of Bamise was found.
Speaking with TVC after his arrest, Nice Andrew denied being responsible for the death of the 22-year-old tailor.
He claimed his bus was taken over at gun-point by some unknown individuals.
Andrew stated that he was allegedly forced to keep driving by the gunmen who later dumped Bamise’s lifeless body on the bridge where she was later found.
Segun O’Law and Emmanuel Utomi capture the thoughts of many Nigerians.
Watch the videos of the driver’s confession in an interview with newsmen as well the thoughts of members of the public as captured by both Nigerians.
Here’s the BRT driver who drove Bamishe into disappearance until her body would later be found, mutilated. I have the following questions:
1. Why were lights on the bus turned off? He told Bamishe not to worry about lights
2. Why was he not picking passengers? He told Bamishe he liked her and wanted to treat her special by driving only her with no other passengers on board (for which Bamishe immediately began to feel uncomfortable)
3. Why suddenly then pick those three new set – if no connection?
4. Did any of the passengers check-in with the approved BRT passenger card? If not, why so?
5. Why did he not report distress to Police or the BRT management after the incidence?
There are many questions begging for answers.
You can clearly see that this man is lying.
Thank God for the video Bamise madeHe picked Bamise first, and even before he picked his accomplices Bamise was already scared for her life because the driver refused to pick any other passenger till he got to where his accomplices were.
It was even after he picked the others that Bamise began to relax a bit. This driver is part of the syndicate.
They should work on him to divulge information about his killer gang members.
Then secondly after escaping from the gang while didn’t he drive straight to the police station to make a report that a passenger of his was forcefully abducted from his bus?
He didn’t report to the Police neither did he report to his employers, he simply parked the bus and escaped.
