The Duke of Edinburgh and husband to Queen Elizabeth II of England, Prince Phillip has been hospitalised.

Prince Phillip was taken to the hospital after exhibiting unusual symptoms.

The 99-year-old was admitted into Prince Edward VII hospital in London on Tuesday evening on the advise of “His Royal Majesty’s Doctor.

CNN and other news media report that the cause illness is not yet known but he is expected to spend a couple of days in hospital.
