The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released Nigerian billionaire, Obi Cubana who has been in its custody since Monday afternoon.
The socialite was invited invited by EFCC for interrogation, an invitation that he personally honoured.
Reports say that Obinna Iyiegbu arrived the office of the Commission in Abuja on Monday afternoon and was grilled by officers of the anti-graft agency.
He is alleged to have answered questions bordering on money laundering, tax fraud and abuse of Naira notes.
Sharing the news of his release, Lucky Luciano, Executive Director of Cubana Group and a close friend of Obi Cubana posted the update on his instagram page.
According to him, Obi Cubana is the “son of man” whom Jesus has set free.
Luciano who identifies himself as cubana_prime_minister, “Victory At Last. @obi_cubana Who the son of man set free is Free indeed #MANOFTHEYEAR #okpataozueora1“
