A video emerged online earlier today, showing the moment operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) stormed the residence of the former Governor of Imo State Rochas Okorocha.
A huge crowd of the operatives of the anti-graft agency were sighted at the house located at No 3, Nyasa Close, Off Ontario Street.
Personnel of the Nigeria Police Force are also present as EFCC made to arrest the lawmaker representing Imo West Senatorial District and presidential aspirants under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
There are claims that the former Governor has continued to shun several invitations extended to him by the commission over alleged corruption charges.
By today, Tuesday, they barricaded his residence. Reports say that none of the members of Okorocha’s family was allowed to leave the compound as the security officers insisted that they first produce APC Presidential aspirant.
The operatives in their effort to arrest Okorocha screened everyone going out and coming into the premises.
EFCC also warned the police operatives attached to Okorocha’s residence to withdraw from the premises.
