Some party agents in the ongoing governorship election in Ekiti State on Saturday were seen on video squabbling over money meant to be shared to voters.
Reports say that the incident happened in Ikole Local Government Area of the state.
Accounts by eyewitnesses who spoke on conditions of anonymity revealed that vote-buying is going on at some polling unites in the state.
Daily Trust reports that some officials of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in a video were lamenting that election money meant to be shared in their polling unit was not disbursed.
The officials of ADP at PU 011 Anglican Primary School, Ward 10 Oke Ayedun, Ikole Local Government Area were quarrelling over money that was disbursed to be shared with voters.
The woman who spoke in Yoruba in the video said they were supposed to share N50,000 with voters in that polling unit but got nothing yet while a nearby polling unit was given N40,000 to share with voters.
