Election Verdict: Man Burns Copy of Nigerian Constitution, Lawyer Burns Wig (video)

Following the verdict by the election petition tribunal on Wednesday, 2 Nigerians have expressed their disappointment with the panel of justices.

The presidential election tribunal judges on the 6th of September, affirmed the election of President Bola Tinubu as the winner of the Feb 25th polls.

In 2 videos posted online, one man burnt a copy of the Nigerian constitution saying it is ‘’useless” while another man, a supposed lawyer burnt his wig.

During Wednesday’s 12-hour verdict, the Election Petitions Court stated that Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party did not provide enough evidence to show that Tinubu should not have been sworn in as president.
