The Charismatic Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, popularly known as Emperor Telu 1 has finally unveiled the face of his new queen.
The new Olori is a Kano princess identified as Firdaus Abdullahi.
The event, which is covered by photo journalist, Dele Momodu in his Ovation photo magazine was also shared to journalists across the country.
The royal father sent the photographs to journalists Saturday afternoon, while the wedding ceremony is being held in Kano.
The invitation to the ceremony earlier released indicated that Oba Akanbi would wed Princess Firdaus at the residence of the Madakin Kano, Yola Quarters, Kano.
Other details showed that after the wedding, a reception strictly for ladies would be held at the palace of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Bayero.
Announcing the arrival of the new queen, Emperor Telu 1 showered her with the praises reminiscent of a satisfied and happy groom.
He said, “Behold The “Queen Firdaus” of Iwoland Firdaus means Paradise and that is Her Majesty Queen Paradise !!! I thank God for being lucky to be blessed ….

Prior to unveiling his queen, the Oluwo, on Friday, shared images of himself obviously with butterflies in his stomach ahead of the wedding.
He said, “Oju Oko Iyawo. Gentle Face of a Paramount Ruler in Yorubaland getting set for wedding in less than 48 hours.
