President Bola Tinubu has directed that all the minors arrested, detained and undergoing trial for their roles during the #EndBadGovernance protest be released immediately.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Ibrahim Idris disclosed this on Monday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The minister said the President has directed the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice to effect the release of all minors arrested for their roles in the protest.
The President also instructed that all charges against the minors be dropped immediately.
Tinubu further directed the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs to ensure that each child is conveyed home and reunited with his parents.
